Patents: The Facilitator of Success
John Haller
Physicist, Patent Attorney
The patent system secures for a limited time to inventors the exclusive right to his/her discoveries. The enormous gains exhibited by the United States from about 1787 to today can in large part be attributed to this Constitutional provision. In the United States, the rules for the critically important right to secure a patent are becoming increasingly complex, inherently confusing, time consuming, and expensive to satisfy. Through this presentation, Mr. Haller described the current state of affairs and also shared some anecdotal out takes for emphasis and illustration.
