Michael Mace
Curator of Birds
San Diego Zoo Safari Park

San Diego Zoo Global is involved in conservation programs around the world. We have worked to save some of the most endangered species from extinction. The presentation will share stories from our avian programs in Bhutan, Africa, Bulgaria, South America and locally. One of the more high profile conservation programs in the world involves our work with the California condor. Learn about all the complexities that are involved and how we helped save a species from extinction.
