The VARI-RO system is an integrated variable flow, positive displacement, pumping and energy recovery system for seawater and brakish water reverse osmosis desalination. The unique system utilizes modern hydraulic power transmission and electronic control to provide a high efficiency, low cycle speed, low pulsation system.

 

Energy savings of 20% to 40% are achievable as compared to present commercially available methods for seawater reverse osmosis desalination.
